Guest services and amenities

  • Parking is free. If you arrive after the main lobby closes, check in at the emergency room.
  • If needed, we offer curbside pick-up and drop-off to help you out of your vehicle and guide you to your destination. 
  • We also offer shuttles to transport visitors from the parking lot to the hospital entrance.

The Gift Cottage is on the first floor of the main hospital, next to the front lobby. It offers books, magazines, flowers, candy, baby gifts and more. Call for hours; you can shop online 24/7.

  • The NHRMC Cafeteria is accessible by taking the visitor elevators to the ground floor of the main hospital.
  • Au Bon Pain is located near the Emergency Department entrance off the main hospital corridor. 
  • Vending machines are on the ground floor of the main hospital by the NHRMC Cafeteria.

  • Company Police are on staff 24 hours a day and regularly patrol our facilities.
  • If you have security or safety concerns, you can reach Company Police at 910-343-2444.
  • We recommend you leave all valuables at home. 

Weapons, drugs and alcoholic beverages are not allowed on Novant Health property.

  • Free Wi-Fi by selecting “nhrmc-public”
  • The Emory N. Grubbs Chapel is on the first floor of the main hospital, near the visitor elevators.
  • Computers, digital and online resources, and publications and print materials are available at the Robert M. Fales Health Sciences Library, located past the auditorium. 
  • Comfort items, such as games, phone chargers, reading materials and extra blankets, are available upon request.

Tobacco-free campus 

Smoking, e-cigarettes and the use of tobacco products are prohibited anywhere on Novant Health facilities, including sidewalks, parking structures and inside vehicles parked or driving through campus.
